The Latin Ecclesiastical Courts of Jerusalem, Amman, and Nazareth, will hold its Eleventh Annual Cannon Law Conference, entitled “Marriage, its Regulations, and the Procedures of Ecclesiastical Trials”, from July 21 until July 28, 2024, at the Movenpick Resort - Dead Sea in Jordan
All bishops and priests of the Diocese of the Latin Patriarchate and practicing lawyers at the Latin ecclesiastical courts in the Diocese, as well as the bishops of the Catholic churches in the Arab countries, and all the judges and practicing lawyers of the Catholic ecclesiastical courts there, are invited to participate in this year’s conference, which begins with the Conference of Judges of the Catholic Courts in Arab countries, on the evening of Sunday, July 21, until noon on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, where we celebrate together the opening of the eleventh annual Canon Law Conference, which will continue until Saturday evening, July 27, 2024.
This year, we are honored by the participation of The Tribunal of the Roman Rota and its Dean, who will give a series of lectures for judges and lawyers. We are also honored by the participation of Father Dr. Antoine Rajeh, who will participate in several lectures for judges and lawyers, as well as H.E. Bishop Hanna G. Alwan from Lebanon, and H.E. Bishop Hani Bakhoum from Egypt.
We expect the participation of 100 lawyers practicing in the Catholic ecclesiastical courts from the region, in addition to many judges of the Catholic ecclesiastical courts and Catholic bishops in the Arab countries. Such a number requires tremendous efforts to ensure the completion of all practical arrangements for the conference's success.
