Jerusalem, June 2025 — The Tantur Ecumenical Institute is pleased to announce its upcoming summer course, titled “Towards the Land That I Will Show You,” taking place from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM each day.
The course will be led by Fr. David Neuhaus, SJ, and will focus on how the Christian faith relates to the land, particularly within the context of the Holy Land. Participants will explore the Catholic interpretation of the Bible in relation to the land, while tracing the historical and theological evolution of the Church’s views on the Holy Land and its inhabitants.
In light of the current political and religious landscape, the course will also delve into contemporary Catholic teachings on ecumenism, interreligious dialogue, and the pursuit of justice and peace in Palestine/Israel.
The sessions will be held at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute, located on Hebron Road. As spaces are limited, registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to register by contacting the Tantur Program Office via email at [email protected]
This course is part of Tantur’s continued commitment to faith formation and dialogue in the Holy Land.
