Holy Land: Pope Francis called for a day of prayer and fasting for peace in Syria, Egypt and the entire Middle East region on Saturday 7th of September 2013.
The Assembly of the Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land, bound by this call for prayer, wishes that every Ordinary in his own diocese, eparchy or exarchate, every priest together with his parishioners, every leader of a religious organization and institution, will organize this day of prayer in the best manner possible in union with Pope Francis and the universal Church. May our voices of prayers overwhelm the sounds of the war drums.
