After consulting the members of the Assembly of the Catholic Ordinaries, the President, His Beatitude Fouad Twal appointed the Rev. Joseph Nguyen Cong Doan, S.J., as Director of the Committee for Religious Institutes of Men. Father Joseph is the superior of the Jesuit community in Jerusalem and rector of the Pontifical Biblical Institute.
Having reached the age of retirement, Rev. Alain Marchadour, A.A., submitted his resignation as Director of the Committee for Religious Institutes of Men to His Beatitude. We are all grateful to Fr. Marchadour for his initiative to gather together the religious men in building a better and mutual brotherhood.
