INVITATION
The Italian Bishops Conference in the spirit of communion, shares with the Churches of the world an initiative, that Saturday, May 23rd, the eve of Pentecost, be a day of remembrance and prayer for our contemporary Christian martyrs. In welcoming this initiative, the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land encourages the consecrated and the faithful to organize a prayer vigil in their churches, parishes, convents and chapels, for Christians persecuted and killed because of their faith in Christ.
