The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem is glad to announce that the Episcopal Consecration of Bishop-Elect Rev. Canon Rafic Nahra will take place on Saturday, April 30rd, 2022, at 17:00 pm, in the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth at the hands of H.B. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Principal Consecrator, H.E. Bishop William Shomali, Patriarchal Vicar in Jerusalem, and H.E. Thibault Verny, auxiliary bishop of Paris, Co-consecrators.
The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem is glad to announce that the Episcopal Consecration of Bishop-Elect Rev. Canon Jamal Daibes will take place on Friday, May 6th, 2022, at 10:30 am, in the Church of Saint Catherine, next to the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem at the hands of H.B. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Principal Consecrator, H.E. Bishop William Shomali, Patriarchal Vicar in Jerusalem, and H.E. Rafic Nahra, Patriarchal Vicar in Israel, Co-consecrators.
ALL ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND TO REJOICE IN THESE EVENTS.
H.B. Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Msgr Nahra and Msgr Daibes will receive the greetings of the faithful after the Masses.
All priests are welcome to concelebrate; they are invited to bring alb and stole.
Both Masses will be broadcast live by Christian Media Center.
Bishop Nahra will receive the greetings at the Latin Vicariate in Nazareth, next to the Basilica of the Annunciation, on Monday, May 2nd and Tuesday, May 3rd.
Bishop Jamal Daibes will celebrate his first Pontifical Mass on May 8th, 2022, at 10:00 am, in the church of the Visitation in Zababdeh (Palestine), and will receive the greetings after the Mass.
