On Friday, March 8th, 2024, in juncture with the Lenten season, and in preparation for Easter, a spiritual retreat was held for the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem employees at the Seminary of Beit Jala.
Fr. Amer Jubran, opened the day by praying a Psalm and reciting hymns, asking for the grace and gift of the Holy Sprit to come upon the participants. Then, Fr. Bernard Poggi, Rector of the Latin Patriarchal Seminary of Beit Jala, led a discussion about the meaning of Easter, its importance in the life of Christians, and how to prepare our hearts to welcome this big feast.
Also, in celebration of Women’s Day, a rose was given to all the female employees, as a token of appreciation for their role in the life of the Church and the Society.
Then, Fr. Bernard presided over a Mass at the Seminary church. It was followed by a series of competitions and activities, aimed at strengthening the spirit of teamwork among the employees, which was organized by Fr. Louis Salman.
