This is a great joy for the religious of the Carmel in the Holy Land : during the Spring, the relics of St. Therese will arrive to this country, in order to be venerated from March 14 until the end of May
The initiative is supported by the Ordinaries of the Holy Land. A preparatory committee should be appointed soon, with their agreement, in which would take part a representative of each diocese.
Father Abdo Abdo, Carmelite and priest in Haifa, will coordinate the formation of this committee, in collaboration with the bishops in order to prepare the visit of the relics of St. Therese of Lisieux.
This will be an important moment for the Church in the Holy Land: the Little Therese has a lot to teach us as the Universal Patron of the Missions and Doctor of the Church, even though she had never left her convent, from where she joined the father at the age of 24 in 1897.
