JERUSALEM - His Beatitude Patriarch Pierbattista Pizzaballa wishes to indicate that, after having tested positive for COVID-19 and fulfilled the prescribed restrictions, he received today, December 22, 2020, official authorization from the State of Israel Ministry of Health that he is free to leave quarantine. He, therefore, will lead the Christmas celebrations in Bethlehem.
His Beatitude also expresses his heartfelt gratitude to all who, in various ways, expressed solidarity and prayer during this period.
